This policy explains how Padmaats Travel ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through padmaats.co.za, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Information we collect

When you send an enquiry or register interest, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, number of travellers, your enquiry topic and your message, together with your consent to be contacted. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymised information about how you use the site.

How we use it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, send you information about the journey you asked about, and improve our website. We don't sell your personal information.

Travel partners

When you click through to a travel partner to book flights, accommodation, car rental or activities, you leave our website. Your booking, payment and personal information are then handled by that partner under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are visited and which travel partner links are clicked. Analytics cookies are only set if you choose “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are stored. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which shows the banner again.

The website also keeps an anonymous count of clicks on travel partner links (the partner, the page and the visitor's country). This contains no personal information and uses no cookies.
